- Organic soft white wheat100%
100% organic soft white wheat. The wheat is a heritage soft white variety, certified organic and grown for the distillery by small family farms in Washington; Bainbridge does not farm it itself. It is fermented with Irish and Scottish whiskey yeast strains and run twice through the stills.
- Cask
- New charred American white oak, 53-gallon, No. 3 char
Why it's craft
Battle Point is the house whiskey every Two Islands finish starts from: heritage soft white wheat grown organically by Washington family farms, fermented with Irish and Scottish yeasts and aged six-plus years in new oak. Keith Barnes founded Bainbridge Organic Distillers in 2009 as an independent, family-owned company, and it grinds, mashes, ferments, distills and bottles everything on the island. It has distilled every drop of whiskey it has ever bottled.
