Why it's craft
Ezra 99 is the higher-strength sibling of Ezra Brooks's 90-proof Kentucky straight bourbon, introduced in January 2021 and charcoal filtered before bottling. The label states it was distilled and aged in Kentucky for Lux Row Distillers, which bottles bourbon from Kentucky distilleries it has not named. Lux Row has made Bardstown its home since 2018 and has belonged to MGP Ingredients since MGP bought Luxco in 2021.
