Why it's craft
Woody Creek was founded in 2012 to make potato vodka from Rio Grande potatoes grown on the Scanlan family farm near Woody Creek, and it holds its bourbon to the same rule: no neutral grain spirits and nothing bought from other distillers. Every grain in this bourbon is grown in Colorado, and the distillery mashes, distills, ages and bottles it on site in Basalt. The barrels rest at least five years in new #3-char oak.
