Why it's craft
Actor William H. Macy is a partner in Woody Creek, and this third edition of his reserve is five barrels of rye the distillery made itself in 2016, picked by blind tasting and bottled in bond at ten years old. The grain was grown in Colorado and milled and distilled in Basalt. Woody Creek is family-owned, led by CEO Mary Scanlan, and does not buy whiskey or neutral spirit from other distillers.
