- bright citrus peel up front, then caramel, sweet corn, vanilla, milk chocolate and charred oak with a touch of marshmallow
- palate
- thick honey and caramel open into cherry and toffee, turning to dry leather, malt and chocolate mid-palate, with spicy oak, clove and tobacco at the back
- finish
- very long; starts soft and builds, with cinnamon, black pepper and rye spice over charred oak, then clove, tobacco, chocolate and dry leather linger as it dries

Why it's craft
Yellowstone is an 1872 Kentucky bourbon brand revived by Stephen Beam, a seventh-generation member of a distilling family, who founded Limestone Branch in Lebanon, Kentucky, in 2011. Small Batch 107 carries a six-year age statement and is bottled without chill filtration at the higher proof the brand used in the 1960s. Limestone Branch has been owned by MGP Ingredients through Luxco since 2021.
