Krystle and Jason Jorgensen founded Alley 6 in Healdsburg in 2012 and released their first rye in 2015. Everything happens on Grove Street: milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling on two direct-fire copper alembic pot stills, barreling and bottling. The rye mash includes aromatic malted barley, and the whiskey ages in heavily charred new oak. Alley 6 makes its own whiskey rather than sourcing it.
