Brother Justus Whiskey Company was founded in Minneapolis in 2014 by Phil Steger. The house crafts American whiskey from two-row pale ale malted barley, Minnesota white oak, and limestone water from the headwaters of the Mississippi. Its industrial production facility opened in March 2021; the annual Founder's Reserve series never repeats itself.
