Allen Katz and partners built New York Distilling Company around the spirits that built American bars — gin and rye — with Finger Lakes–contracted rye and a Brooklyn production ethos. Ragtime Rye is the house whiskey: full-size barrel aged, cocktail-ready, and a platform for BiB and Empire Rye expansions. Loch Lomond Group bought the company in 2025, its first American whiskey house, and the founders stayed on.
