True Story is the whiskey brand of Saga Spirits Group, founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee Wes Henderson (co-founder of Angel's Envy) with his six sons as a multi-generation family project after the Angel's Envy chapter. Until their own Versailles-area distillery whiskey matures, the house bottles carefully selected sourced straight whiskeys with distinctive secondary wood programs — Brazilian Amburana and sherry for the rye, white moscatel for the bourbon — emphasizing transparent mash and finish storytelling.
