Why it's craft
This year's Discovery blends three bourbons aged 7, 10 and 11 years, a 10-year Indiana wheated bourbon among them, and finishes them for four months in barrels made from Garryana oak, a scarce Oregon white oak, toasted for three hours. The barrels come from Oregon Barrel Works. The whiskey is sourced, and Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
