Mash bill
A blend of several whiskeys, so no single grain split.
75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, 45% of the blend from a 6-year bourbon; 53% corn, 26% rye and 21% malted barley, 25%, from an 8-year bourbon; 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, 21%, from a 14-year bourbon; and 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, 9%, from another 14-year bourbon. Four recipes combine in a blend aged 6 to 14 years.

Why it's craft
Bardstown finished a custom blend of bourbons aged 6 to 14 years in barrels from Blackberry Farm Brewery's Oxheart stout for 17 months. Only ten barrels were made, sold in Kentucky and Tennessee. The bourbons were distilled elsewhere, so the whiskey is sourced. It won a Gold Medal at the New York World Spirits Competition. Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
