Mash bill
A blend of several whiskeys, so no single grain split.
45% corn, 51% rye and 4% malted barley, 90% of the blend, from a seven-year Indiana whiskey; and 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley, 10%, from a 17-year Tennessee bourbon. The Indiana whiskey is a rye-leaning recipe with a large share of corn.

Why it's craft
Foursquare is a rum distillery in Barbados, and its barrels hold the whiskey for 23 months in the top floor of a Bardstown rickhouse. The blend is 90% seven-year Indiana rye with 10% 17-year Tennessee bourbon, none of it Bardstown's own, so the whiskey is sourced. The result drinks close to a dark rum for a whiskey. Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
