Tasting notes
- nose
- Toffee, roasted nuts and orange marmalade with candied pineapple
- palate
- Crème caramel building to dark sugar, with banana chip and dried pineapple
- finish
- Cinnamon spice and oak turning dry and almost grassy, with fading tropical fruit and black pepper

- Rye8%
- Malted barley8%
84% corn, 8% rye, 8% malted barley. This is a 10-year Tennessee bourbon with little rye, so corn sweetness carries the whiskey and the rum finish sits on top of it.

Why it's craft
The bourbon is a 10-year Tennessee whiskey, and Bardstown held it 22 months in barrels that had held Plantation rum before bottling. It is not Bardstown's own distillate, so the whiskey is sourced. The result is restrained for a rum finish. Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
