Why it's craft
The finishing barrels held Silver Oak winery's Cabernet Sauvignon, and the bourbon sat in them for 17 months. The base is six bourbons aged 9 to 14 years from four states, none of them Bardstown's own, so the whiskey is sourced. Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
