Why it's craft
Garryana is a dense Oregon white oak that is hard to source and rarely used at scale, and this was the first bourbon finished in it. Bardstown had ten barrels made from it, toasted by hand for three hours, and rested the blend there for 10 months. The three bourbons were distilled in Kentucky and Indiana, not at Bardstown, so the whiskey is sourced. Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
