Why it's craft
The finishing barrels held Isle of Jura single malt Scotch, mostly ex-bourbon with some ex-sherry, and the blend rested in them for 32 months. It scored 99 points and Best American Whiskey at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition. The three components were distilled elsewhere in Indiana and Kentucky, so the whiskey is sourced. Pritzker Private Capital has owned Bardstown Bourbon Co. since 2022.
