95% rye, 5% malted barley. With almost no other grain in the mash, the rye supplies the citrus and cedar in the glass, and the cherry-wood finish adds fruit on top. The whiskey is distilled at Bardstown Bourbon Co.'s own distillery.

Why it's craft
Bardstown Bourbon Co. distills this rye itself at its Kentucky distillery, from a mash of 95% rye, and ages it at least six years before moving it into toasted cherry wood and oak barrels. Each bottle is a single barrel picked by hand and bottled at barrel strength, so the proof and the weight of the cherry shift from barrel to barrel. Pritzker Private Capital has owned the company since 2022, and since 2025 it has run under the Lofted Spirits name.
