Why it's craft
Bødalen was Far North's first estate-grown bourbon, released in 2018, and its corn and rye come from the Swanson family farm in Hallock. Even the barrels are made in Minnesota. Michael Swanson and Cheri Reese founded the distillery in 2013 on a farm the family has worked since 1917, the northernmost distillery in the contiguous United States.
