Why it's craft
The whiskey aged eight years in the distillery's clay-tile rickhouses, then spent six months in new American oak barrels with a light char and medium toast from Independent Stave Company. It is the first Distillery Select release and is sold only directly by the distillery, in 375 ml bottles. The 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition gave it Double Gold. Green River was licensed in 1885, and Bardstown Bourbon Co. has owned it since 2022.
