55% rye, 36% corn, 9% malted barley. This is a separate recipe from the 94% rye mash behind Hard Truth's barrel-strength Sweet Mash Rye, with more than a third corn. Like all of Hard Truth's whiskeys it is a sweet mash, started from fresh ingredients each batch rather than with spent mash from the last.

- New charred American oak
Why it's craft
High Road Rye is Hard Truth's lower-strength rye, a 93-proof companion to its uncut Sweet Mash Rye built on its own recipe with more than a third corn. It is made grain to glass at the sweet mash distillery Hard Truth opened in Brown County in 2018, on a Vendome continuous column still. Hard Truth started distilling in 2015 above Big Woods Pizza in Nashville, Indiana, and is part of BWQOHT, Inc., the family company that also runs Big Woods Restaurants.
