Hard Truth began distilling in 2015 above a pizza restaurant in Nashville, Indiana, then scaled into an 18,000-square-foot Vendome-equipped distillery on a 325-acre Brown County campus. Master Distiller and partner Bryan Smith champions sweet mash (100% fresh ingredients, no backset) to spotlight grain character. The house is known for destination hospitality — tours, restaurant, ATVs — and for patiently aging its own Indiana rye and bourbon until Bottled-in-Bond releases could stand on grain-to-glass authenticity.
