Why it's craft
Green Brier finishes this bourbon in casks from Withers Winery that held Mourvèdre, a dark, peppery red wine from grapes grown in California's Sierra Foothills. The bourbon was bought from distilleries in Indiana and Kentucky and finished in Nashville. The distillery takes its name from Charles Nelson's pre-Prohibition Green Brier and is now wholly owned by Constellation Brands.
