Why it's craft
Follesrunn is the second release of Rabbit Hole's Distillery Series, small cask-strength batches of four-to-six-year-old whiskey given experimental finishes and sold through the Louisville distillery. The name nods to Folle Blanche, one of the classic cognac grapes. Rabbit Hole distills on copper Vendome column stills at the distillery it opened in 2018; founder Kaveh Zamanian left clinical psychology to make whiskey, and Pernod Ricard has held a majority stake since 2019.
