Why it's craft
Redbreast is a single pot still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills at the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork. This bottle is the 12 Year left at the strength of the cask, which changes with each yearly batch, and it is not chill filtered. Irish Distillers makes Redbreast and is owned by Pernod Ricard, so this is a large corporate house, not an independent one.
