Why it's craft
Redbreast is a single pot still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills at the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork. The 27 Year spends its last stretch in first-fill ruby port casks, which sets it apart from the rest of the range. It is released in small quantities, so it is allocated rather than easy to find. Irish Distillers makes Redbreast and is owned by Pernod Ricard.
