Why it's craft
Redbreast is a single pot still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills at the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork. This bottle takes the whiskey out of its ex-bourbon and oloroso casks and gives it a final year in first-fill sherry butts from the Lustau bodega. It is not chill filtered. Irish Distillers makes Redbreast and is owned by Pernod Ricard.
