- Corn36%
- Malted barley7%
57% rye, 36% corn, 7% malted barley. That is the recipe Watershed uses for its barrel-strength rye, with more rye in the mash than corn and barley combined to give a delicate spice. The distillery first laid down only five barrels of this rye, which is why each batch so far has come from a single barrel.

Why it's craft
Watershed releases its rye one barrel at a time: Greg Lehman has said the distillery first put down just five barrels of rye, so each batch is a single cask while more rye ages. Batch 004 is the oldest yet at nine years, bottled at full barrel strength, and only 100 bottles were sold, by lottery at the Columbus bottle shop. Watershed was founded in 2010 and has belonged to Marussia Beverages since 2023.
