Why it's craft
Great Lakes Brewing Company aged its Christmas Ale in ex-bourbon barrels and, once the beer was out, sent those casks to Watershed, which refilled them with its own six-year high-rye bourbon for nine months. The collaboration was released for the holidays and sold only in Ohio. Watershed has been making whiskey in Columbus since 2010 and has been owned by Marussia Beverages since 2023.
