“Native Quercus garryana oak program; age-stated PNW single malt”
Tasting notes
- nose
- mulled wine, clove, walnut fudge brownie, lemon Danish — native Garryana spice plus dessert-wood sweetness
- palate
- campfire s'mores, dehydrated strawberry, toasted cumin, blood orange — savory oak meeting bright fruit
- finish
- long terroir-forward Garry oak spice
Mash bill
A blend of several whiskeys, so no single grain split.
Westland's Signature Five Malt program (~42%) married to Washington pale malts (~58%): Washington-grown barley varieties including roasted and specialty malts that build cocoa, toast, and cereal depth under a clean pale-malt spine. This is Pacific Northwest single malt grain first — the Five Malt recipe is the house fingerprint; the pale cut keeps the Garryana oak and finishing woods readable rather than buried in roast.
- Cask

- Finish
- Garryana oak primary; secondary PX / rum / ex-bourbon components by edition
- Best served
