Westland launched in Seattle in 2010 to build Pacific Northwest American single malt around local barley and native Garryana oak. Now owned by Rémy Cointreau, it remains a craft-bent malt house whose Garryana series is the terroir flagship — age-stated editions that argue Washington oak and five-malt bills are a real regional style.
