Why it's craft
The Badönkådonk is a Canadian single malt aged a quarter century, then finished in barrels from Silver Oak's Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. WhistlePig did not distill it; it bought the aged malt, ran the wine-barrel finish on its farm in Shoreham, Vermont, and hand bottled each barrel there. Released in 2024, it followed The Béhôlden as the second of the company's super-aged single malts.
