Why it's craft
Each bottle comes from one six-year barrel of Wigle's Monongahela-style rye, a revival of the rye Western Pennsylvania distillers made before Prohibition. Wigle mills local grain and pot-distills it on site in the Strip District; it opened in 2012 as Pittsburgh's first distillery since Prohibition and was bought in 2022 by Pittsburgh Spirits, a family-owned company.
