Why it's craft
Willett spent nearly three decades bottling other distilleries' whiskey before the Kulsveen family restarted distilling in Bardstown in 2012; this bourbon was made the following spring, so it is among the oldest whiskey the family has distilled itself. The family has made whiskey on the site since Thompson Willett founded the distillery in 1936, and still owns it. It is bottled at 108 proof without chill filtration.
