Tasting notes
- nose
- caramel, honey and graham cracker with seasoned oak, a little cinnamon and red fruit
- palate
- thick and dessert-like; cinnamon bun, vanilla custard and burnt brown sugar, with rye spice, red fruit and aged oak
- finish
- long; caramel and brown sugar linger with allspice and cinnamon, settling into old leather and oak
Mash bill
A blend of several whiskeys, so no single grain split.
Bourbon mash, led by corn; the grain recipe has not been published. Most of the bottle is twelve-year-old Tennessee whiskey distilled from that mash, with a small share of fifteen-year-old Indiana bourbon blended in, and neither source distillery has been named.

- Reconditioned barrel (used barrel scraped, re-toasted and re-charred)

Why it's craft
This is Woodinville's first sourced whiskey: the company did not distill it, and the label reads "Presented by Woodinville Whiskey Co." Co-founder Orlin Sorensen came across the twelve-year-old Tennessee whiskey forgotten in a rickhouse, aged in a reconditioned barrel that had been scraped, re-toasted and re-charred, and Woodinville blended in a little fifteen-year-old Indiana bourbon. Woodinville distills its other whiskeys itself from Washington grain, and the company has been owned by Moët Hennessy since 2017.
