Orlin Sorensen and Brett Carlile launched Woodinville Whiskey Co. in 2010 to make straight whiskey in Washington from local farm grain. All of its grain comes from the Omlin family farm in Quincy. The whiskey is mashed and distilled in Woodinville, and the new spirit is trucked over the Cascades to private barrel houses in Central Washington, where wide swings between day and night temperatures draw flavor from the wood. The barrels are deep-toast, heavy-char oak seasoned in the open air for 18 months. Moët Hennessy bought the company in 2017, and it is now part of LVMH's wines and spirits portfolio.

Owned by Moët Hennessy (LVMH).
