“100% Texas yellow-corn pot-still bourbon aged in Houston heat”
Tasting notes
- nose
- warm caramel, candy corn, vanilla toffee, light oak char and a whisper of smoke
- palate
- full corn sweetness into honey, caramel, and toasted oak with a youthful Texas edge - resin and baking spice peek through
- finish
- lingering corn sweetness with hot mint and dry wood
Mash bill
- Texas yellow corn100%
100% Texas yellow corn - no rye, no wheat secondary grain. Outlaw earns its name by breaking the usual bourbon flavor-grain playbook: all corn sweetness, pot-still texture, and Houston heat doing the oak work. The grain is Texas-grown yellow corn milled for a sweet mash that ferments into a corn-forward distillers beer before copper pot distillation.
