Why it's craft
Travis County pairs two whiskeys, one made from nothing but Texas corn and one from a corn, rye and barley bourbon recipe, both aged in new oak in Texas and blended into a single bottling. The label states it is pot distilled in Texas from Texas-grown corn, rye and barley. It comes from Yellow Rose, which opened in Houston in 2010 as the city's first legal whiskey distillery.
