10th Street Distillery in San Jose, California, was founded in 2016 and makes American single malt whiskey on copper pot stills. It uses Sierra water and both domestic and peated barley. Its STR cask programs, in which barrels are shaved, toasted and recharred, take American single malt beyond Scotch styles. The California Coast Blend combines the house single malts with sourced Indiana light whiskies.
