Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, is one of America's oldest continuously operating distilleries and the production home of Blanton's, Eagle Rare, E.H. Taylor, Weller, and the Antique Collection under Sazerac ownership. The campus along the Kentucky River combines limestone-filtered water, massive column still capacity, and a warren of rickhouses - including metal-clad Warehouse H, where Blanton's barrels are selected. Blanton's itself (introduced 1984 by Elmer T. Lee) invented the modern single-barrel bourbon category; brand ownership sits with Age International/Takara while Sazerac holds the exclusive make contract.

Owned by Sazerac Company.
