Root Shoot Spirits sits on fifth-generation Olander Farms in Loveland, Colorado. Todd Olander grows the barley, malts it at Root Shoot Malting (founded on the farm), and distills American single malt from that same grain. The farm is permanently conserved with Colorado Open Lands. First whiskey sold August 2023; 4-year BiB swept London Spirits Competition 2026 (Whisky of the Year).
