Father-son founders Cleveland and Chris Seals opened Still Austin as the first whiskey distillery inside Austin city limits since Prohibition, committing to Texas-grown grain and a towering Scottish-made still nicknamed Nancy. Master Blender Nancy Fraley brought Cognac-style élevage — slow water reduction over months — to soften phenolics and pull more from the oak. The Musician straight bourbon is the house’s creative, high-rye Austin flagship.
