Michter's Distillery in Louisville traces its brand lineage to colonial Pennsylvania and makes its whiskey in Kentucky. Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson lead production. The house is known for its US★1 core expressions, toasted-barrel finishes and barrel-strength limited releases. Many of its whiskeys enter the barrel at 103 proof, and the house selects its grain carefully and uses its own filtration methods.
