Amrut began as a spirits company in Bengaluru in 1948 under the Jagdale family and later became the producer that put Indian single malt on the world map. Tropical warehouse maturation accelerates aging and intensifies flavor; Fusion — blending Indian barley with peated Scottish malt — was a landmark that proved India could compete with Scotland on quality, not just novelty.

Owned by N.R. Jagdale Group.
