Daniel Barnes founded Treaty Oak in 2006 and later moved production to Ghost Hill Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas. The 28-acre Hill Country campus holds the distillery, a rickhouse, the Mercantile and a restaurant. Ghost Hill Bourbon is the house flagship, a wheated bourbon made from local heirloom grains from Barton Springs Mill. It is mashed, fermented, distilled and aged on site, with the Texas heat doing much of the aging work. High Basin Brands bought Treaty Oak Brewing and Distilling in November 2024.
Owned by High Basin Brands.
